All members will receive:
1. An annual membership card giving contact details of Office Bearers and the Club Mobile Phone number.
2. In addition to a 15% discount at Cotswolds (Crow Road), you can often arrange discounts in other local outdoor equipment shops, when using the card.
3. A Calendar of Club events, including the dates for and grading of all planned walks.
4. Liability insurance through the Mountaineering Council of Scotland (automatic once your details are forwarded to the MCofS).
Fees:
Membership is set at £20 (Children under 16 free) per annum (January to December). This includes the cost of the MCofS liability insurance. Non-members may join us for up to three walking days, after which they will be asked to join. We share any fuel costs with the driver of the car(s) used.
The liability insurance covers you against being sued by an organisation or another person in connection with one of our organised walks. It does not however provide medical injury insurance for yourself, nor does it cover the costs of any rescue service. These types of insurance are available separately (see links).
